33. [Maps]. Set of 8 fold-out geography maps published by Féret Editions, Bordeaux, with a map of France attached. The maps are composed of 21 parts each, printed in color and are canvas-backed. They were produced in accordance with the decision of the Gironde General Council of August 23, 1875. Their scale is 1:40,000. The maps in this set are Saint Vivien (2.1), Valeyrac et Donnezac (2.2), Blaye (6), La réole (8), Libourne et Guitres (11), Sainte Foy (12), Monségur (16), Belin (18). Some maps have torn cloth. A fold-out map of France, enhanced in color by hand, is included. Carte de la France routière ou nouveau guide des voyageurs... drawn and published by Lallemand, s.d. (Between 1860 and 1870). At the time, France comprised 89 départements.
