Aïe ring, a lucky charm in green spun glass adorned with a four-leaf clover. This spun-glass aïe ring is also called "bago d'aï" in Provence. It was given as an engagement ring to symbolize the fragility of a budding love and the promise of a future union. Handcrafted since the 17th century, it was also a ring of ephemeral love during the Beaucaire Fair: men's rings were adorned with a cat on the prowl, while women's rings were adorned with a little mouse with blushing ears.
